Job Summary
Karin L. Bone Athletic Study Center is a division of the Illinois State Athletic Department that provides services and programs designed to assist students with their academics.
Content tutors provide individual and small-group tutoring on a weekly basis, as well as drop-in tutoring, for lower level courses at Illinois State University.
All tutoring will be held at the Karin L. Bone Athletic Study Center during operating hours.
This application is for an applicant pool. Applications will be reviewed at an ongoing rate, when there is an increase in demand for a subject or should staffing changes occur.

Preferred Qualifications
- Applicants must have an overall GPA of at least a 3.25.
- The letter grade of a "B" is required in the course(s) in which the candidate is applying to tutor.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in the area in which he/she desires to tutor and be able to convey that knowledge clearly via the spoken and written word.
- The tutor provides help tailored to each student's needs, so he/she must be friendly, patient, desire to be helpful, and must be able to communicate effectively.
- Additional courses in the subject area applied for would be preferred.
