The Associate Dean advises the Dean and makes strategic recommendations on a full range of personnel management, budget, policy, and planning issues related to the management of the College. This role oversees budget and financial operations for the College in collaboration with the Dean. collaborates with other members of the College staff on issues such as instructional capacity, development, technology support, and facilities/space coordination as these areas relate to budget and planning.

The Lab School Coach is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the program in accordance with Laboratory Schools and IHSA/IESA policies.

The Honors Program is looking for engaging and motivated Instructional Assistant Professors to teach the Honors Mindset Seminar (HMS). HMS is a 1-hour class designed to introduce first-year Honors students to the Honors Program and to help them develop an Honors Mindset. This is a part-time, non-tenure-track appointment. Multiple positions are available.

The primary responsibility of the Standardized Patient is to portray the characteristics of a real patient, simulating all aspects of the created scenarios, primarily in the simulated in-patient setting including history of current problem, affect/behavior and physical findings, in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner. Scenario facts must be accurately memorized, retained, and portrayed. Scenarios may be audio and videotaped for evaluative purposes. Multiple opportunities exist with flexible schedules.

Serve as a Daily Rate Substitute Teacher, providing academic classroom instruction for students in the absence of the regular teacher. Metcalf Laboratory School is a service unit of the College of Education of Illinois State University. It offers a comprehensive program of instruction for 400+ students in grades PreK-8. Metcalf is a caring community of life-long learners. The Extra Help Medical Office Assistant will perform duties such as scheduling patients, answering the main telephone line, and assisting with patient check-ins.
