Job Summary
The new College of Engineering (CEG) at Illinois State University (ISU) invites applications for full time, non tenure track faculty positions in the first year engineering program beginning August 16, 2025. First year engineering courses may include (but are not limited to) EGR 110: MATLAB Programming for Engineers, EGR 120: Engineering Explorations, EGR 130: Introduction to Engineering Design, EGR 135: Engineering Applications of Calculus I, and EGR 136: Engineering Applications of Calculus II.
The College of Engineering is the newest college at ISU. We will welcome our first cohort of students in Fall of 2025 and graduate our first cohort of students in Spring of 2029. The CEG will emphasize project-based learning and applied research, and actively demonstrate the societal impact engineers make across communities. We will be a leader in educating engineers and plan to be a leader in transforming engineering education to graduate more students from diverse backgrounds. Salary Rate / Pay Rate
Starting at $7,000 per month commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
1) BS and PhD in engineering or closely related field.
2) Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English Language as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.
