The On-Air Student Newscaster will prepare, record, and properly distribute newscasts that air on WGLT or WCBU. This position works closely with the WGLT and WCBU news directors or their designees to make good story decisions during newscast preparation.

The Lead Facilitator oversees and implements experiential learning, coaching, debriefing, and classroom instruction on behalf of the ISU School of Social Work in partnership with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services’ (IDCFS) Office of Learning and Professional Development. The Lead Facilitator assists the Director(s) with day-to-day programmatic operations, curriculum planning, staff onboarding, and delivery of classroom and simulation material to support the experiential learning needs of IDCFS and private sector child welfare and child protection staff.

The loan processor is responsible for processing student loans in accordance with federal and state rules. Duties include reviewing reports, running batch processes, outreach and counseling students and families, and resolving processing issues and errors.

Student will report to WGLT’s Digital Content Director and will work with all members of the station’s content creation team.
