Job Summary
Duties/responsibilities may include:
1. Assisting and supporting faculty and administrative professionals within the College with a variety of activities according to College area
2. Support teaching in clinical practicum or lab (if qualified)
3. Assisting in classroom support, e.g. proctor tests, work with course database, etc
4. Tutoring undergraduate students
5. Grading papers (if qualified)
6. Assisting faculty with research activities
7. Maintaining records/databases
Additional Information
1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
2. Ability to complete assignments with limited supervision
3. Ability to take initiative and multi-task
4. Creative and organized
5. Confidential professional oral and written communication skills. Adherence to confidentiality related to student, faculty, staff and administration issues is required.

1. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/downloads/GA_Handbook.pdf
2. Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University
3. Must be registered for at least 3 credit hours during the summer semester.

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
