Job Summary
The Facilitator for the Assistive Technology Center will manage the day-to-day activities of the SEAT Center. This includes the management and upkeep of SEAT Center and the SEAT Center inventory. This person will also work closely with the SEAT Center Director.
Additional Information
This is a non-continuous position. The initial appointment will end on December 17, 2024. Appointment renewal will be based upon need and performance and may have varying FTE up to full-time work.
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$21 per hour
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in special education, disability studies or similar field
2. Expert technology skills
3. Experience evaluating, implementing, or supporting assistive technology and/or assistive technology services in education environments to students with disabilities
4. Familiar with assistive technology software and hardware that support students with disabilities in educational environments.
Preferred Qualifications
1. ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) certification
2. Special Education initial Certification
Work Hours
Generally Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
