Job Summary
The Department of Mathematics at Illinois State University invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions starting August 16, 2025. We are seeking faculty members whose research can complement existing faculty research expertise, with a preference for Discrete Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and/or Partial Differential Equations. The position will also contribute to the newly founded College of Engineering through excellent teaching and curriculum development in mathematical content relevant to the training of future engineers.

Required Qualifications
1. Candidates must be ABD or have a conferred Ph.D. in Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates who will have their degree by August 16, 2025.
2. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in English as a requirement for this position.
