Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$31.90 per hour
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, management, communications, marketing, business, media, human resources, accounting, or related field.
2. Two (2) years of full-time or part-time equivalent professional level accounting, project management, managerial, non-profit or educational administration, and/or business experience.
3. Demonstrated experience working in broadcast and/or digital media, communications, business, or logistics.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and an electronic accounting system.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Must be a self-starter with ability to work with little minimal day to day direct supervision, make significant decisions, and solve problems independently.
2. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills and a professional, personable attitude.
4. Familiarity with procedures for administering budgets, managing projects, generating purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, travel vouchers, etc.
5. Strong proofreading and editing skills.
6. Understanding of broadcast traffic management and experience with broadcasting traffic systems dynamic online (display and audio) ad delivery systems, or similar systems.
7. Standard office/administrative skills including familiarity with various reference manuals, university documents, directories, and handbooks.
8. Knowledge of the administrative structure of the University and familiarity with the importance of cultivating working relationships with contacts on and off-campus.
9. The ability to handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion.
10. Familiarity with the mission of non-commercial media/radio.
11. Experience with broadcasting traffic systems dynamic online (display and audio) ad delivery systems, or similar systems..
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
