Job Summary
Will assist the department with a variety of office duties, including filing (both physical and electronic), updating process and procedure documentation, training new Student Workers, providing customer service, and other tasks as needed. In addition to training Student Workers, this position will be responsible for updating training plans and materials for new employees.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour
Required Qualifications
Six (6) months previous office experience including filing, experience with Microsoft Office products and training new hires and/or supervisory experience.
Work Hours
Monday - Friday; 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch break)
May only work up to 28 hours per week
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without reasonable accommodations:

Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment. Employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University. However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University’s supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment. In addition, extra help employees may only work up to 900 hours total during their employment.

Applicable part-time work experience will be considered toward qualifying for this position; however, it will be converted to a full-time equivalency to determine combined length of experience.
